Introducing corporate beehives in Perpignan delivers a visible, meaningful commitment to biodiversity tailored to the unique environment of the Pyrénées-Orientales. Backed by professional beekeeping experience since 2010, Apiterra provides comprehensive installation and year-round management of corporate apiaries.
Perpignan's business community thrives across major activity zones such as Espace Polygone, the Tecnosud technology park, Torremila, and the Saint-Charles international trade platform. These dynamic districts host forward-looking companies, regional headquarters, and logistics hubs seeking tangible sustainability practices. Placing hives on commercial grounds transforms office campuses into active biodiversity sanctuaries, uniting employees around environmental stewardship while strengthening the company’s regional presence across the Roussillon territory.
Blessed with intense Mediterranean sunshine and mild winters, Perpignan provides honeybees with an early foraging season. Riparian corridors along the Têt river, paired with city green spaces like Parc Sant Vicens and Square Bir-Hakeim, offer continuous nectar and pollen sources. Native vegetation, including Mediterranean garrigue, wild thyme, rosemary, and the abundant fruit orchards of the surrounding plain, guarantees varied, high-quality nutrition for the hives throughout the foraging months.
Flat office rooftops, logistics platforms, and landscaped outdoor spaces on corporate campuses offer safe, well-suited locations for corporate apiaries in Perpignan. Hosting hives on your company premises provides an engaging focal point for staff workshops and strengthens your corporate CSR reporting with measurable environmental action directly supporting local pollinator populations.
Above all, it brings people together: hive visits, harvest days, the Apiterra mobile app and the Apinews keep every employee involved throughout the year.

Questions about beehives in Perpignan
How do corporate beehives cope with Perpignan's strong Tramontane winds and hot summer climate?
+
Our professional beekeepers carefully position hives in wind-sheltered orientations and ensure all hive roofs are firmly secured against strong Tramontane gusts. During the warm Mediterranean summer, we maintain dependable water sources and favor partially shaded sites to protect the colonies from extreme heat.
Do you really work in Perpignan?
+
Yes. Apiterra installs and maintains corporate beehives in Perpignan and across Occitanie, as in the rest of France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
Is there any risk for employees?
+
Hives are installed in places away from passage areas after an on-site study. Bees fly up and out of the apiary and are not interested in people. Apiterra takes care of insurance and all legal obligations.
How much does it cost?
+
Each project is different (number of hives, site, options). Request a quote and we will send you a personalised proposal.
What if we have no rooftop or garden?
+
You can sponsor hives hosted in our Apiterra apiaries and still receive honey and news from your colonies.
