Partner with Apiterra to introduce corporate beehives to your Toulouse site and unite your teams around a tangible biodiversity initiative. Since 2010, our professional beekeepers have provided comprehensive, turnkey apiary management for organizations across Europe.
As a leading European hub for aerospace, satellite technology, and software, Toulouse offers fertile ground for forward-thinking corporate sustainability programs. From industrial facilities in Blagnac and Colomiers to corporate offices in Labège Enova, Montaudran, and Basso Cambo, business campuses possess ample space suited for honeybee hives. Installing apiaries on corporate grounds allows organizations to translate their CSR objectives into visible environmental action, creating a shared sense of purpose among employees within a forward-looking regional economy.
With its sunny, mild climate, Toulouse provides ideal conditions for honeybees from early spring through autumn. Rich foraging sources line the banks of the Garonne River and the Canal du Midi, complemented by expansive urban green spaces such as the Jardin des Plantes, Île du Ramier, and the slopes of Pech David. Flowering trees, including linden, black locust, and plane trees, alongside wild meadow plants, supply continuous nectar and pollen throughout the active beekeeping season.
Whether on accessible rooftop terraces in districts like Compans-Caffarelli or within landscaped business parks outside the city center, Toulouse commercial sites are well-suited for corporate apiaries. Apiterra conducts strict site assessments to guarantee total safety and operational feasibility prior to installation. Once established, the project enriches your corporate social responsibility program and rewards your workforce with honey harvested directly from their workplace.
Above all, it brings people together: hive visits, harvest days, the Apiterra mobile app and the Apinews keep every employee involved throughout the year.

Questions about beehives in Toulouse
How are beehives positioned in Toulouse to handle peak summer temperatures?
+
Honeybees adapt well to the warm Occitanie climate, provided their habitat is properly planned. Apiterra beekeepers choose strategic locations with partial shade, good ventilation, and nearby water sources to ensure colonies thrive safely throughout the summer months.
Do you really work in Toulouse?
+
Yes. Apiterra installs and maintains corporate beehives in Toulouse and across Occitanie, as in the rest of France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
Is there any risk for employees?
+
Hives are installed in places away from passage areas after an on-site study. Bees fly up and out of the apiary and are not interested in people. Apiterra takes care of insurance and all legal obligations.
How much does it cost?
+
Each project is different (number of hives, site, options). Request a quote and we will send you a personalised proposal.
What if we have no rooftop or garden?
+
You can sponsor hives hosted in our Apiterra apiaries and still receive honey and news from your colonies.
