From the mixed-use Union eco-district to commercial hubs such as the Ravennes-les-Francs business park and creative industry centers, organizations across the city are reimagining their professional spaces. Setting up beehives on corporate grounds unites teams around tangible biodiversity conservation while strengthening the organization's civic commitment within the local economic community.
Honeybees in Tourcoing thrive thanks to a connected green infrastructure of public gardens and waterside pathways. The Tourcoing Botanical Garden, Clemenceau Park, and the vegetated banks along the Tourcoing Canal supply honeybees with abundant nectar and pollen throughout the active season. The temperate oceanic climate of northern France, marked by balanced rainfall and moderate seasonal temperatures, supports sustained flowering from early spring into late summer, giving colonies the steady floral resources they need.
From office rooftops to landscaped corporate campuses and renovated industrial sites, Tourcoing offers diverse premises well-suited for professional beekeeping. Apiterra carries out thorough feasibility and safety evaluations prior to every installation. This turnkey service transforms unused outdoor spaces into impactful assets for your sustainability strategy, fostering community engagement and elevating your brand's environmental profile.
Above all, it brings people together: hive visits, harvest days, the Apiterra mobile app and the Apinews keep every employee involved throughout the year.
